Tools I Personally Use to Stay Sane and Organized

Tools I Personally Use to Stay Sane and Organized

Here are the tools that comes under my "I CAN'T WORK WITHOUT THESE" list:

The Digital Brain (Apps)

  • Google Calendar: This is my base. If it’s not on the calendar, it doesn't exist. I use it for the big blocks of time like work or classes.
  • Todoist: This is for the tiny chores. Getting a notification to "Fold Laundry" or "Water Plants" helps clear my head so I don't have to remember everything myself.

  • Forest: This is a timer app that keeps me off my phone. You grow a digital tree while you work. If you leave the app to check TikTok, the tree dies. It’s surprisingly effective guilt-tripping.

The Physical Setup (Stationery)

  • Muji Gel Pens (0.5mm): I’m picky about pens. These write smooth and don't smudge. Writing out a list feels more "real" than typing it.

  • A Simple A5 Dot Grid Notebook: You don't need a $30 planner. I use a basic notebook to scribble down my "Daily Top 3" goals every morning.

  • Physical Kitchen Timer: There is something about the "tick-tick-tick" of a real timer that makes me move faster during chores.

Why these matter (Why is this even a question, lol)

I don't recommend these because they’re aesthetic. I recommend them because they solve specific problems: forgetting small tasks, getting distracted by apps, and feeling overwhelmed by a long list.

When I build your $3 timetable, I'm thinking about how these kinds of tools can help you actually follow the plan I make for you.
